Privacy Policy

Short version: Vajba doesn't collect your data. At all.

Long version: Every tool on Vajba runs entirely in your browser. When you convert a PDF to Word, compress an image, trim audio, or format JSON, everything happens on your device. Your files never touch Vajba's servers because there are no servers processing your files.

How It Works

All Vajba tools process files client-side - meaning 100% in your web browser. This approach provides:

• Complete privacy - Your files and data never leave your device
• No uploads - Nothing is transmitted to Vajba's servers
• No storage - Vajba can't access, view, or store your files because it never receives them
• No tracking - Vajba doesn't use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels

What Vajba Sees (Server Logs)

Vajba's hosting provider (one.com) maintains basic server logs showing anonymized visit data - things like which country visitors come from and whether they're on mobile or desktop. This is standard server infrastructure and doesn't use cookies or tracking scripts.

These logs can't identify individual users, track you across sessions, or build profiles. Vajba uses them only to understand general traffic patterns (like "people from the US visit more on weekends") to help prioritize which tools to build next.

Unlike most websites, Vajba doesn't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any client-side tracking that follows you around the web.

What Loads from External Sources

Vajba tools are built with open-source JavaScript libraries. Most of these are self-hosted on vajba.com: all PDF tools (built on PDF.js, pdf-lib, and qpdf), the invoice generator, and all fonts load exclusively from Vajba's own server, so those pages make no third-party requests at all.

A smaller number of tools still load libraries from public CDNs (content delivery networks) when you visit them. A CDN is simply a network of servers that hosts commonly used code files so websites can load them quickly from a location near you.

Here is what loads externally and why:

JavaScript libraries power specific tools. For example, FFmpeg enables video conversion, image codecs handle modern formats like AVIF and WebP compression, HEIC decoders open iPhone photos, and an MP3 encoder powers the audio tools. These libraries are loaded from public CDN services: cdnjs.cloudflare.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net, and unpkg.com.

Flag images and data in the Flag Quiz are loaded from flagcdn.com. Your browser downloads country names, codes, and flag images. The CDN receives your IP address.

YouTube thumbnail images in the YouTube Thumbnail Downloader are loaded directly from img.youtube.com based on the video URL you provide. Google receives your IP address and the video ID. If you are logged into YouTube in another browser tab, your browser may also send your existing YouTube cookies with the image request.

Split-Flap Display - Optional External Services

The Split-Flap Display tool has optional features that contact external services only when you explicitly enable them:

• Weather data: If you enable the weather display and search for a location, your location search query is sent to geocoding-api.open-meteo.com, and the resulting coordinates are sent to api.open-meteo.com to retrieve the forecast. Open-Meteo is an open-source weather API.
• RSS news feeds: If you add RSS feed URLs, those URLs are sent to api.rss2json.com for parsing. The feed URL is the only data transmitted.
• Public holidays: If you enable the holiday display, the selected country code and year are sent to date.nager.at to retrieve holiday dates. No personal data is included.

None of these external services are contacted unless you actively configure and enable the corresponding feature. The weather, news, and holiday features are off by default.

What All External Requests Share

When your browser downloads a library file, image, or API response from an external server, that server receives your IP address and basic request data - the same information any web server receives during a normal page visit. This is a technical requirement of how the internet works.

What these requests don't share: Your files, your input, your results, or any personal data. CDN requests only download code and assets to your browser. API requests (weather, RSS, holidays) only send the specific parameters described above - never your files or other data from Vajba tools.

Browser Storage

Some tools use your browser's built-in localStorage feature to remember settings or progress between visits. This data is stored entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to Vajba or any third party.

Invoice Generator saves your business details (company name, address, logo, bank details) so you don't have to re-enter them each time you create an invoice.

Add Signature saves your drawn signatures for reuse, but only if you switch on the "Remember signature" toggle. It is off by default, and saved signatures can be deleted from within the tool.

Games and quizzes (Sudoku, Word Rush, Flag Quiz, 2048, Backgammon, Reaction Time Test) save your scores, streaks, game progress, and statistics.

Utility tools with settings (Pomodoro Timer, Word Clock, Split-Flap Display, Print Calendar, Time Zone Meeting Planner) save your preferences such as timer durations, color themes, timezones and locations, display sources, and custom messages.

Random Name Picker saves your list of names so you can return to an ongoing session.

Browser Fingerprint can remember your previous fingerprint result so you can compare visits, but only if you choose to save it.

All other tools do not store any data between sessions. You can clear stored data at any time through your browser settings or from within each tool.

Your Rights

Since Vajba doesn't collect personal data, there's nothing to delete, export, or request access to. Your data never reaches Vajba in the first place.
